Walnut Sewing / Thread Storage

I designed this walnut sewing / thread case to complement the antique above. It is sized for this specific corner of the room – 52” x 42” x 18”. Two more pieces are planned – a storage hutch and a sewing machine table. I made inserts for each of the ten 4-inch drawers to hold either embroidery thread cones standing up (90 per drawer) or sewing thread lying down (80 per drawer). They are on side runners and are easily removable for major thread sorting when needed. The vertical drawer on the right is for the embroidery hoops. The door on the left hides shelves for rolls of material, etc. My wife loves it!
